The Autopilot Cooling Thermostat is a compact and easy-to-use controller for air conditioners and exhaust fans. Simply plug it into a power receptacle and then plug your cooling device into its outlet, then choose your preferred room temperature setpoint with the rotary knob. When its built-in sensor senses that the room temperature has exceeded the setpoint by at least 1°F, it will automatically activate your cooling device by powering the outlet. Digital screen displays current room temperature. Its green LED light illuminates when the outlet is activated to on. When the temperature in the room has dropped at least 1°F, the Autopilot Cooling Thermostat will cut power to the cooling device. It has a built-in 1-degree deadband and is ETL-listed. Max power handling 15A.

Temperature Controllers
The temperature in your grow room will be one of the most important things you need to monitor as a grower. If temperatures raise too high, plants will grow very slowly. Come harvest, you will find that potency and smell are reduced when plants have been exposed to higher than ideal temperatures. Plants are also susceptible to powdery mildew, root rot, and nutrient burns when it is too warm in the growing space.If temperatures are too low, plants will stop growing, as they think the season is ending and plant activity slows.
Controlling temperature in the grow room
The ideal temperature range for a grow room or grow tent is 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit. Clones and seedlings need to be kept in a slightly warmer environment (75-80 degrees), and during flowering and harvest, temperatures should be slightly lower than normal (68-73 degrees).
In certain climates, temperatures can extend into non-optimal ranges. This is especially true during summer and winter months. To combat these conditions, growers will implement air conditioners and greenhouse heaters.
What is a temperature controller?
Instead of having to constantly monitor temperatures and turn devices on and off manually, a temperature controller will do it for you. This frees you from the grow room, and allows you to live a less chaotic life!
Some of these controllers have photocell, which will allow you to set day and night cycles in conjunction with your grow lights. This means when grow lights turn off, other devices that work with your grow lights will too. This includes fans, CO2 devices, and A/C.
